Wilderness Zones is a medium sized company based in Nairobi , Kenya. The size of our firm enables us give personalized and individual attention to our clients’ needs and requirements while planning their itineraries. Our staff are experienced and skilled in this field to ensure we pay attention to details at all times. A big number of our itineraries are in Kenya but tours to Tanzania and Uganda are also available.

We believe in working closely with you or group when planning your itinerary so that your interests, styles of travel, timing, budget and other consideration are taken into consideration. All your questions/enquiries are welcome and will be promptly addressed.

Transport

We offer options of using mini buses where we maximize the number of participants to six so that each participant have access to a window seat and 4X4 landcruisers/ landrover landcruiser/ landrover to make your travel comfortable and safe. The vehicles are custom made for game or sight viewing or filming. They are fitted with HF radios in addition to mobile phones for easy communications during the safari. We also make use of light aircraft where it is preferred or long distances are involved.

Guides / Drivers

We provide trained and skilled guides/drivers with knowledge in wildlife, birdlife, culture, environment etc. They are also fluent in English while some speak other language like French, German, Spanish, Italian Chinese etc. We believe the success of your safari has much to do with the guide who will accompany you during the safari.

Tour Leader

We are able to provide qualified tour leaders who are experts in their fields for interested tour groups. These are University trained professionals who are trained in ornithological, archeological trips, etc.

Accommodation

We have contracts with 3 to 5 Star hotels, beach resorts, lodges, tended camps etc which are located in the games parks and other parts of Kenya , Uganda and Tanzania . We will select the best accommodation for you to suit your budget, tastes and style to ensure you are comfortable while on safari with us.

Departure

Once a booking has been confirmed, it is guaranteed to go unless when it comes to matters beyond our control. Due to the flactuation in the prices based on the programs requested, we do not post trip prices. Our per diem cost starts at US$ 350 per person. The estimates is based on the number of participants and facilities used during the trip. Arrangements are always made before departure to introduce you to your guide and address any questions or requirements you might have.
