Day 1 Nairobi
Upon arrival you will be met by Wilderness Zones Safaris representative and transferred to the Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens or equivalent for overnight. (BB)
Day 2 Mountain Gorillas Nest Lodge
You will be transferred to the airport for your morning flight to Kigali, Rwanda where you will be met upon arrival at airport and transfer to Kigali. You will be briefed on your safari. O/N: Mountain Gorillas Nest Lodge or equivalent. (FB).
Day 3 Mountain Gorillas Nest Lodge
Go gorilla tracking in Parc National des Volcans (subject to permit availability at the time of booking). Tracking the gorillas through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virungas is a magical experience. Some gorilla families however are more elusive, and tracking can take a full day, especially when it is wet and muddy. O/N: Mountain Gorillas Nest Lodge (FB).
Day 4 Kigali Serena – Rwanda
Go for another gorilla trek returning in time for lunch. Afternoon at leisure or visit the market or areas on interest. Meals and overnight at the Kigali Serena (FB).
Day 5 – 6 Amboseli National Park
Morning transfer to the airport for your morning flight to Nairobi. You will be met by Wilderness guide and representative for a short briefing before heading direct to Amboseli National Park for more wildlife viewing. The drive to will take about 4 hrs on the main road from Kenya to Tanzania. Meals and overnight at Amboseli Satao Camp or equivalent. (2B, 2L, 2D)
Day 7 – 8 Tarangire National Park
Depart Amboseli after breakfast and drive to Tarangire with a lunch stop enroute in Arusha. You will be arriving at Tarangire Sopa or equivalent at 4.00 P.M. Herds of up to 300 elephants scratch the dry river bed for underground streams, while migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland crowd the shrinking lagoons. Meals and overnight at the Tarangire Sopa Lodge or equivalent. (2B, 2L & 2D)
Day 9 Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast we head to Lake Manyara to explore the many interesting areas of Lake Manyara NP. It is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including leopard, buffalo and elephant. It is famous for its elusive tree-climbing lions and hot springs. Overnight at the Lake Manyara Serena or equivalent. (1B, 1L & 1D)
Day 10 – 11 Serengeti – Seronera
“Serengeti” means “endless plains” and today we drive west via its eastern border all the way to the central Serengeti! You will be amazed by the vast expanse of the Serengeti and we drive past a few kopjes that will bring back memories of “The Lion King”! Meals and overnight at the Seronera Sopa or equivalent (2B, 2L & 2D)
NB: On this day, you could opt to visit the Ngorongoro Crater enroute to Serengeti.
Day 12 – 13 Ndutu Area:
From Seronera, we drive to Ndutu area for two days. Meals and overnight at Ndutu Lodge or equivalent. (2B, 2L & 2D)
Day 14 Arusha
Transfer to the airstrip in Ndutu for your scheduled flight to KIA where a dayroom at KIA Lodge will be reserved for refreshing before late evening 5 minutes transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
